Urgent Care for Screening of PSA

A 55 year old patient was seen for UTI symptoms at Urgent Care Medical Center in Orlando. Urinalysis and an urine culture was ordered and the patient was treated with Cipro. Dr.Jain, who saw the patient, also ordered PSA for the sreening of prostate cancer because the patient had only urinary symptoms. The Patient was feeling better but his PSA was higher than normal range. Patient was called in to get the results of the tests and also for a referral to a urologist.
