Rash-Sore Throat-Fever Walk in Clinic Urgent Care Orlando

A 4 year old patient was seen for sore throat and rash for 2 days.  The patient had high fever and fine macular rash all over the body. The patient was seen by Dr. Usha Jain and strep test was ordered which was positive. The patient was diagnosed with scarlet fever which is the rash associated with strep throat and fever. The patient was treated with a shot of antibiotics followed by oral antibiotics.

The patient responded well to the antibiotics and was feeling much better next day.
