Pink Eye-Conjunctivitis-Walk in Clinic Orlando

A 66 year old patient was seen in our Urgent Care Walk in Medical Center for pink eye for 3 days. The patient was seen by another physician and was given neosporin eye drops. The patient continued to have discharge from her eye and didn’t respond to the antibiotic eye drops. Dr. Usha Jain saw the patient and gave vigomox eye drops. The patient responded well to the treatment and got better in 2 days.

Conjunctivitis can be from different bacteria and the bacteria can be resistant to the antibiotic. The patient responded well to different antibiotic.
