High Fever – Kidney Infections vs Flu

A patient came to Emergi-Care Medical Clinic with complains of high fever and lt rib pain for last two days and was seen by our medical clinic doctor Usha Jain. The patient was treated for flu by another doctor for flu but not any better. The patient denied any urinary symptoms.

The patient was seen by Dr. Usha Jain and had blood tests and urinalysis. The patient was diagnosed to have kidney infections and was treated with antibiotic injection followed by oral antibiotics.

The patient responded well and was fever free and felt almost normal.  Fever can be a sign of serious illness and should be diagnosed properly and treated.
