EKG and Stress Test at Urgent Care Medical Center

We have seen a patient who had experienced nausea and upper abdominal discomfort for 3 hours. Patient was healthy and did not take any medication. Dr. Usha Jain examined the patient and ordered blood tests. Dr. Jain also advised to have an EKG and patient agreed. The EKG  showed some evidence of a heart attack. An ambulance was called and the patient was immediately taken to a hospital.

The patient had a stent put in and the patient did fine. This patient could have been easily sent home with the diagnosis of flu but order of an EKG saved his life.
